  • Role as a recreation volunteer: coffee/tea/dessert, outings with seniors, decorations and games

  • Available volunteering hours: Sun-Wed between 10:30-6:30pm

Entraide Bénévole Métro (EBM)

  • About: EBM provides services, free of charge, to seniors aged 60 and over, experiencing temporary or permanent loss of autonomy and who live in central Downtown, Montreal and part of Westmount, Quebec

  • New: TechHelp, a service to help clients solve tech-related issues 

  • French is not required but is an asset (including other languages)

  • Vaccination proof is not required

  • Application requires you to submit 2 references and a SPVM background check form

  • Volunteer schedule varies; 2-4 hours per week/minimum commitment of 2 months (flexible scheduling is possible)

Membership application fee

How to pay the fee:

1) E-transfer $10 to mushvc@ssmu.ca

2) State your name in the message of the e-transfer

The fee is a one-time fee that members of MUSHVC pay when they first begin volunteering. The money goes towards supporting volunteering departments at the hospitals and funding MUSHVC member events
